Unavailable Valentine Island postcard

Currently not available for sale.
Postcards can be great for maps, however I hardly ever finished making one. They are small, and really only one-use. I think it may make more sense to make these, if I make a pack of cards. But good ideas have eluded me, for now.

Anyway, the Valentine Island card is one that did make sense, because I expanded the idea and even wrote a little backstory about this place. Valentine Island is a Valentine's Day card. A folding postcard with an (imaginary) history of the island on the back. There are a lot of word jokes and little easter eggs on this map. All love-themed, obviously.

The map itself is a large heart (clearly), but it is also pierced by an arrow (see Feather Island in the south west and the arrowhead Arrow Island in the north east). Even Lover's Bay is heart shaped. And yeah, love is not always easy, so sometimes one has a chip on one's shoulder...

This is the text on the back of the postcard:

About Valentine Island

Valentine Island, discovered by Captain Valentine Lover in1642, was quickly settled by people seeking a new future, away from the Old Continent. What happened to Captain Lover when their ship, the HMS Proposition, reached

the island is shrouded in mystery. It is certain that the Captain had a house built on the island (Lover’s Manor),but whether or not it was ever occupied by the island’s discoverer is unknown. Very few historical records remain from this period, however the Captain seemed to have actually sought love not long before or after discovering the island. The fact the island is also heart shaped was a complete coincidence, only discovered a decade later when the island was fully surveyed.

It is currently not available for sale because if people order this, in combination with a poster, it's hard to package properly.
